Tamagotchi Paradise (Comic book)

Tamagotchi Paradise is a comic book series released in May 3rd, 2025 on Free Comic Book Day. The series promoted the upcoming Tamagotchi Paradise virtual pet, introducing the backstory and general gameplay of the device. There is also a product catalog in the second half of the book that shows current and upcoming Tamagotchi merchandise and virtual pet shells.

The comic opens with a Tamagotchi researcher briefly explaining the history of Tamagotchi and how the Tamagotchi virtual pets came to be, before explaining a new development. As the people of Earth have shown love to their Tamagotchi for 29 years, Tamagotchi Planet became overwhelmed with the love, causing a volcano on them to erupt with large eggs that were scattered throughout space. These eggs hatched into new Tamagotchi Planets, smaller Gaiatchi brimming with new Tamagotchi life. The dial on the Tamagotchi Paradise is twisted to zoom into the planet to view the new life. It is then shown that the Tamagotchi develop differently in their growth depending on what ecosystem the eggs are hatched in and how they're cared for and fed.

The researcher's ends their report and starts to introduce the Tamagotchi Paradise virtual pet that allows the user to interact with the planet before the story ends. In the physical comic book, there is a "To be continued?!" tagline that leads into advertisements for the Tamagotchi Official Shorts series and various Tamagotchi merchandise. In the online version, there was a tagline stating that more information would be coming on May 21st. Once the date had passed, the tagline was replaced with a link that lead to the website for the Tamagotchi Paradise.
