This article is about an upcoming Tamagotchi release, and therefore information is subject to change prior to release.

Tamagotchi Pix is an upcoming color-screen virtual pet set to be released in late 2021.

Design

The Tamagotchi Pix is roughly the same size and shape as the Tamagotchi On. The top area of the shell is cracked, giving the appearance of a cracked-open egg. Instead of buttons, there are three touch keys in the same spots where the buttons typically are on Tamagotchi pets. The front of the shell has printed graphics, with round dots over the touch keys, resembling buttons. The top half is a solid color, with the word "Tamagotchi" printed on it, and the back of it features the camera lens.

Features

Multiple Eggs

Upon starting the Tamagotchi Pix, the user will be able to select one of three possible eggs. Which egg the user chooses, and how the user cares for the Tamagotchi, will determine its adult form.

Jobs

Similar to the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus and Tamagotchi Connection Version 4, the Tamagotchi can earn a job once it reaches adulthood.

Camera

The user can use the Tamagotchi Pix's built-in cameras to take photographs. The user's Tamagotchi will appear in the photographs, similar to AR-style photos.

Tama Social

The user's Tamagotchi can connect to an integrated social networked called "Tama Social". Users on the network can exchange presents, share and like images, and let characters visit each other.
