Tamagotchi Uni/Download Codes

The Tamagotchi Uni supports additional content which can be downloaded by entering special codes.

Code Types

There are two different types of download codes:

• Unlimited-Use: Can be entered on all Tamagotchi Uni devices.
• Limited-Use: Can only be entered on 3 different Tamagotchi Uni devices before they become invalid.

How to Use

Note: Downloading items requires an internet connection.

Entering a New Download Code

• Go to the "Network" page from the Main Menu (bottom right icon)
• Select "Download"
• Select "Input Code"
• Enter the 16-character Input Code
• After entering a valid code, you will be asked if you want to download the item immediately

Downloading an Item

• Go to the "Network" page from the Main Menu (bottom right icon)
• Select "Download"
• Select "Items"
• Select the item you wish to download from the list
• Select "Download"

Items from Download Codes can be re-downloaded an unlimited number of times.

Item Limit

A maximum of 8 downloadable items can be stored on the device at once. Records are kept of which passwords have been entered on a device, so items can be re-downloaded without entering the Download Code again. Resetting the Tamagotchi Uni does not clear the history of which download codes have been entered on the device.

Tama Stickers

Tama Stickers (たまステッカー) are distributed in special campaigns and events. These physical stickers include a printed Download Code for a Tamagotchi Uni item. The campaigns are exclusive to Japan, but the stickers have also been made available at World Tamagotchi Tour events in other countries. These are Limited-Use Codes - Unique codes are printed on every sticker, and each code can only be entered on 3 Uni devices.
