- Berry Town (all versions except 20th Anniversary and Gift): Eat the Berry Sundae at the restaurant 10 or more times.
- Melody Land (Melody exclusive): In the third generation, visit the backyard during the day.
- Spacy Land (Spacy exclusive): In the third generation, visit the backyard during the night.
- Professor Banzo's Laboratory (20th Anniversary & Gift): Once the Tamagotchi becomes an adult, visit the backyard.
- Makkakka Town (20th Anniversary & Gift): From the third generation onward, change your Tamagotchi's color to red through foods, and then visit the backyard.
- Uratama Town (20th Anniversary & Gift): From the second generation onward, purchase and use the Gondola from Makkakka Town or the park vendor.
- Gotchi King's Castle (20th Anniversary & Gift): Bring the Bring Ta-Matreshka item to Tamagotchi Town.
- Dream Town (Dream exclusive): After unlocking the Patchi Forest, visit the backyard again.
- Present Island (Gift exclusive): Congratchi will invite the Tamagotchi to Present Island during the child stage.
- Mariland (Sanrio exclusive): Once the Tamagotchi becomes an adult, visit the backyard.
- Twin Stars Land (Sanrio exclusive): Visit the backyard after 7 PM.

Games
Rainbow Painter
The player will presented a rainbow and three paint buckets. When one of the rainbow's colors disappears, the user must select the right color or color combination to repaint the missing color. Pressing A scrolls the paintbrush over the buckets, and B selects a color. The paint bucket must be selected twice for primary colors (red, blue, and yellow), while secondary colors (orange, purple, and green) require selecting the two colors to mix together. If the user selects the wrong color, the rainbow will disappear, ending the game. The user must paint the rainbow correctly ten times for a perfect game.
Star Catch
Stars and UFOs will move slowly from the top of the screen to the bottom, and when the word "CATCH!" appears, the user must press either A (left) or B (right) to catch the object that begins to fall. The button must be pressed once for stars and twice for UFOs. If the button isn't pressed in time, or the wrong button is pressed, the game is over. The player must catch 10 times for a perfect game.
Accessories
- Straps - Straps can be attached to a Tamagotchi m!x toy and be used to carry it around. Two kinds of straps were released on July 16, 2016: the ribbon accessory strap, and the neck strap. The ribbon accessory strap costs 1,296 yen and comes in two versions: Colorful Egg, and Girly Pink. The neck strap costs 972 yen and comes in two versions: Rainbow Sky, and Cute Pom-Poms.
Tamagotchi m!x Station
A standalone device called Tamagotchi m!x Station was released alongside the m!x series. Through connecting with the Station as an adult, the Tamagotchi will marry the special Tamagotchi offered, and their offspring will inherit their unique genetic traits. Trivia
- Rather than having twelve unique teen stage characters, six male and six female, the six teen stage characters have male and female variations; males have blue bodies while females have pink. This is the only growth stage where this happens, as well as the first Tamagotchi release to feature such.
