Tamagotchi no Doki Doki Dream Omisetchi (たまごっちのドキドキドリームおみせっち), translated as Tamagotchi Exciting Dream Shopstchi, is a Nintendo 3DS game that released exclusively in Japan and is the sixth entry to the Tamagotchi Corner Shop series. It is followed by Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi Ninki no Omise Atsumemashita.
The game released May 23, 2013 and features new characters from the Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream anime series.
Plot[]
The Gotchi King greets the player and tells them his plan for a new town for the royal family to live in, wanting to fill it with his favorite things and celebrate the marriage of Princess Tamako and Prince Tamahiko. However, Princess Tamako hears about this plan and gets angry at the king since she refuses to marry Tamahiko and thinks the king is being selfish and not considerate of what his subjects would want. Thus, the Gotchi King enlists the help of the player to create the new town in his place as they will be more likely to make his subjects happy.
Once the player upgrades all shops to royal status, the Gotchi King and Princess Tamako will congratulate the player on their achievement as the shop Tamagotchi plus Bloggertchi join them.
Gameplay[]
Like previous Corner Shop games, the player works to upgrade several shops to help them expand, grow and gain popularity. However, the player does not choose a partner this time. Instead, each shop is run by a Tamagotchi that interacts with the customers while the player themself works to fulfill shop's objective. After serving a certain number of customers, Bloggertchi will appear to upgrade the shop's status. The goal is to upgrade each shop until they reach royal status. Differing from previous games where the shops' gameplay automatically becomes more complex after being upgraded, other gameplay options will not unlock until the player passes an exam at the Puzzle Center.
Outside of working in the shops, the game introduces the feature of customizing the town the shops are in. The player is able to choose where the shops are placed, create paths, and place various decorations into the town. Tamagotchi will wander around the town and the player can tap on them to see their dialogue.

Chocolate Shop[]
The player helps Pianitchi create chocolate dipped skewers for the customers. This involves selecting the right skewer and fruits, dipping it into the requested chocolate type, and then adding the right toppings.
Pizza Shop[]
The player helps Kuchipatchi bake pizzas for customers. Customers will call in with an order and the player must assemble the pizza with the right toppings and then bake it. Once the pizza is finished, the player controls Kuchipatchi as he delivers the pizza to the customer's house on a scooter. This is done by tapping the steering wheel on the bottom screen.
Kimono Designer Shop[]
The player helps Kiraritchi design kimonos for the customers. The player will be given a template for a kimono and they must select the right color and patterns to place on it. Once finished, the kimono will automatically be cut out and put together.
Garden Designer Shop[]
The player helps Kiramotchi design trees that the customers want. This involves selecting the right color of tree and cutting it down properly without damaging the tree too much.
Photo Studio[]
The player helps Righttchi take photos of customers. The customer will wander around in an area and the player has 30 seconds to take a certain number of clear pictures of them. The player may also be asked to take pictures of objects instead. Aiming the camera is done through the 3DS's gyro controls.
Hospital[]
The player helps Memetchi treat wounds on incoming patients. This involves putting the right color of antiseptic on the wound and then covering it with a bandage. The player may also use the thermometer to determine what medicine the customer needs and the syringe to treat other wounds that show up.
Police Station[]
The player helps Nandetchi run the police station. Incoming Tamagotchi will ask the player to find certain characters and they must search the town and tap on them before time runs out.
Idol Concert[]
The player helps Yumemitchi sing Kirakira☆Dream, Hop Step Dream, and Rock 'N' Heart! in an idol concert. This involves tapping on the buttons on the bottom screen at the right time as the corresponding shapes reach the mark on the top screen.
Space Center[]
The player helps Mametchi pilot a spaceship to a destination. The player must use the directional buttons on the bottom screen to move the spaceship away from incoming asteroids. Pressing the center button will speed up the spaceship's movements.
Other Buildings[]
Architect Center[]
Charatchi runs the Architect Center where the player can buy new buildings, shops, and decorations for the town. When buying a shop, construction will take some time to complete. The center also acts as the game's build mode where the player can move buildings and decorations around and place paths.
Election Center[]
Mr. Micchi runs the Election Center where the player can select a Tamagotchi's manifesto to support. The manifestos focus on improving the town in some way, such as adding more trees or certain decorations. If the Tamagotchi the player selects gets the most votes, their manifesto will be used to upgrade the town.
Puzzle Center[]
Hoshigirltchi runs the Puzzle Center where the player can pay to take an exam. The exam consists of fulfilling an order from a shop. If the player is successful at the exam, new gameplay options (such as the ability to do pizza deliveries at the Pizza Shop) will be added to the shop. The player may also do general exams which are trivia quizzes about characters in the Tamagotchi franchise.

- Himespetchi and Coffretchi are the only two main characters from the anime series who are not featured as playable characters in this game.
