Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi: Ninki no Omise Atsumemashita (たまごっちのプチプチおみせっち~ にんきのおみせあつめました~ Tamagotchi Little Little Shoptchi: Favorite Shops Gathering~) is a Nintendo 3DS game that released exclusively in Japan, and it is the eighth entry to the Tamagotchi Corner Shop series.
It was developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, and it released on November 16, 2017—ten days before the 21st Anniversary of the Tamagotchi series.[1]
Gameplay[]
Like other Corner Shop games, the player must manage various shops and serve customers alongside a partner Tamagotchi, with the goal being to upgrade all of the shops to Royal status. Most of the shops are taken from previous Corner Shop games with some updated details such as graphics, with the exception of the one secret "Hamburgardening Fireworks" shop which is a combination of three different shops in one. The soundtrack for the game uses a mix of music from the past Corner Shop games, as well.
Shops can be upgraded once they have reached enough customer satisfaction, but unlike previous games, this won't happen automatically after approval. Gotchi Points are needed in order to open and upgrade shops, and the fee increases for each upgrade. Some minigames become slightly more difficult or advanced with each upgrade, and a wider variety of customers will visit as well.
Aside from opening and upgrading shops, one of the main goals is to collect a log of all of the available customers by serving them. There are 240 characters in the game, including ones that need to be unlocked by entering passwords. Some customers only visit during certain times of day, as the game keeps track of the system time and has a real-world day and night cycle. If the player has logged a customer, they will be able to view their name, gender, biography, the time of day they appear, and five different expressions: neutral, happy, angry, sad, and excited—however, many characters share the same expression for being happy and excited.
The player can decorate their house by buying a variety of furniture, wallpapers, and floors—all of which unlock gradually as shops are upgraded. The house is where the options, customer list, and other features can be accessed. Various partner characters will enter and visit, and sometimes the Gotchi King will appear when reaching certain milestones—such as logging 50 or 100 customers—and throw the player a party to celebrate, awarding them with either Gotchi Points and/or a new title.
There is also Tamagotchi m!x compatibility that works with all versions of the m!x. By selecting the PC option under the connection icon on the toy, the player can get a code to enter into the 3DS game. The player can then choose a shop to play, and the partner will say the name of the character the player had. After completing a shop minigame, the 3DS game will provide a code that can be entered into the toy. The Tamagotchi m!x will receive Gotchi Points, and it can also receive a special gift after doing this 10 times.
List of Shops[]

The Takoyaki Shop has the player making takoyaki for customers. Gameplay is nearly identical to the original, with the exception being that customers may now request that certain ingredients be removed once the shop reaches a higher status.

Beauty Salon gameplay

Yum Cha Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi no Kira Kira Omisetchi
- Partner: Kuchipatchi
The Yum Cha Shop has the player serving a group of customers dim sum, tea and other food or drinks. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users having to steam and/or prepare certain dishes, place them on the lazy Susan and spin it so it reaches the customer who requested it.

Gardening Shop gameplay
Gardening Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3
- Partner: Watawatatchi
The Gardening Shop has the player planting seeds the customers bring and helping them grow. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users having to cover the seed with dirt and provide care for it as it grows—such as watering, adding supplements, plucking weeds and singing/speaking into the 3DS's microphone. Clouds may occasionally appear and block out Sunnytchi, requiring the player to blow into the microphone to move them.

Space Tour gameplay
Space Tour Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi no Doki Doki Dream Omisetchi
- Partner: Mametchi
The Space Tour Shop has the player guiding a customer in a rocketship on a tour through space. Gameplay is conceptually similar to the original, with the player having to maneuver the rocketship to avoid hitting asteroids and collect more fuel capsules to reach the goal—although, given the game is not in 3D, the player can only steer left and right rather than the additional up and down in the original. Missile capsules will occasionally appear, giving the player the ability to fire them at incoming asteroids or—if timed right—a UFO to grant them an extra 9 missiles or a temporary speed boost. The player must also be careful not to move the rocket around too much, as it will upset the customer.

Ice Cream Parlor gameplay
Ice Cream Parlor[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3
- Partner: Shimagurutchi
The Ice Cream Parlor has the player making ice cream for customers. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users having to add and occasionally mix certain ice cream flavors to the machine, then neatly pour it out into the specified cone or bowl as to not let it become wobbly or topple over. Users must then add requested toppings, as well.

Fireworks Shop gameplay
Fireworks Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi no Kira Kira Omisetchi
- Partner: Nijifuwatchi
The Fireworks Shop has the player perform a fireworks show for a customer. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users setting off fireworks one by one to the rhythm of the requested song. When upgraded, the player will start receiving faster, more difficult songs, as well as having the direction of the fuse flip between left-to-right and right-to-left.

Burger Shop gameplay
Burger Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2
- Partner: Kikitchi
The Burger Shop has the player making burgers for customers. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users having to catch the requested ingredients in the proper order as Kikitchi continues to throw them. Unlike the original, however, the top bun must also be caught before finishing and serving the burger to the customer.

Accessory Shop gameplay
Accessory Shop[]
- Originally from: Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop
- Partner: Lovelitchi
The Accessory Shop has the player making necklaces and brooches for customers. Gameplay is identical to the original, with users having to select the proper shape of the accessory, add jewels and/or decorations and place them in the correct layout before threading them all together with string. After doing so, hitting the OK button fully pieces the accessory together.

Fireworks Hamburgardening gameplay
Fireworks Hamburgardening Shop[]
- Partner: Prince Tamahiko
The Fireworks Hamburgardening Shop is an unlockable shop available after upgrading all the other shops to Gotchi status. The player must make burgers and bouquets by setting off fireworks with ingredients and flowers in them. Gameplay is a combination of the Burger Shop and Fireworks Shop, with elements of the Flower Shop mixed in as well. The player sets off fireworks to the rhythm of the song, and for the first part, burger ingredients will fall from the fireworks for the player to catch and make the requested burger while simultaneously setting off more fireworks. Then during the second part, ingredients are replaced with flowers to make a bouquet. When upgraded, the customer may request more than one burger, and worms will start to fall with the flowers for the player to have to avoid.

Trivia[]
- It is the only Tamagotchi game for the Nintendo 3DS that was released after the anime finished airing, therefore being the only one to utilize the franchise's modern art direction.
- This game was also the last Tamagotchi game to be released for the 3DS, as well as the last console game to be released before the reveal of Tamagotchi Plaza in 2025.
- The only genderless characters are Marutchi, Kinakomotchi, Hitodetchi, and Tomatchi. This is despite Marutchi previously being a female baby on the 15th Anniversary ver. Tamagotchi iD L, and Hitodetchi being a female on some overseas releases such as the Tamagotchi Music Star.
- Tomatchi is the only Aka character to not be given a gender in this game.
- All of the featured Uratama Town characters only appear at night, and all of the featured Makkakka Town characters only appear during the day.
- Many of the younger characters only visit during the day, hinting at them being too young to be allowed out at night.
- Coffretchi is the only one from the group of main characters in the "Tamagotchi!" anime who does not appear in the game.
- The only Corner Shop title that is not represented in this game with a shop of its own is Tamagotchi no Pichi Pichi Omisetchi.
- The Space Tour Shop features many cameos from different Gaiatchi: Sunnytchi, Tsukitchi, Cometchi, The Earth and Tamagotchi Planet all make appearances.
- Tamagotchi Planet is erroneously depicted in the anime art style rather than the modern art style like the others.
