Tamaotchi (玉尾っち) is a character that appears exclusively on the TamaOtch.
Name Origin[]
Tamaotchi's name is a play on words from Tamao Nakamura's first name (玉緒 tamao), with the same first character (玉 tama) but a different second character (尾 o) having the same pronunciation. The name is also a visual pun, as 玉 means 'ball' and 尾 means 'tail'; Tamaotchi resembles a ball with a tail.

Tamaotchi resembles a blue ball with a face and a small tail.
Personality[]
This curious young actor sincerely believes they'll be a big star someday. In the meantime, they're still a playful child. They like imitating their favorite actress, Tamao Nakamura.
According to the official website: "First prize winner at the Impersonations Grand Prix! This character has great talent for impersonations. Its weak point is that Tamao Nakamura is the only impersonation it can't seem to do."

Tamaotchi can be obtained either at the Active or Maturity stage. At the Active stage, it evolves from AsaDoratchi or Mochimotchi with less than 3 care mistakes. It evolves from AsaDoratchi if the user prioritized either Acting (with low popularity) or Dancing (with high popularity), and from Mochimotchi if they prioritized Acting with high popularity. It can evolve into any Maturity stage character other than itself. At the Maturity stage, it evolves from all four Active stage characters with different conditions. Tamaotchi sleeps from 8pm to 8am and its stage time is from 8:30am to 9am.
