Tengutchi (てんぐっち) is a special adult character.
Appearance[]
Tengutchi resembles a red ball with a long nose and a large, black mustache. It has two arms (one holding a green leaf), angry eyebrows, a yellow tokin hat with a red dot, stick legs with large feet, and a pair of white wings.
Personality[]
Lives on Mount Akagi in the Mushitchi Forest. It has plans to cover Mount Akagi in trees to extend the forest but is too lazy and sloppy to follow through on the idea.

Tengutchi can evolve from Koganetchi. The Koganetchi must live to the age of 10 with perfect care, reached full discipline, and have won the Beauty Contest at least once. Additionally, the user must also find all 8 items (not eggs) lying around on the overfield.
Tamagotchi Town (SNES)[]
Mayutchi will evolve into Tengutchi if it is lured into a mountain block by food upon waking up on the day it is due to evolve.
Name Origin[]
His name comes from the Japanese mythological creature tengu.

- Tengutchi appears on all adaptions of the Mori de Hakken! Tamagotch, effectively replacing Helmetchi as one of the secret characters.
