Terukerotchi (てるけろっち) is a teen stage character that debuted on the Tamagotchi On.
Name Origin
Terukerotchi's name comes from a combination of "teru teru bozu" (てるてる坊主) (a paper doll made to ward off bad weather) and "kero kero" (けろけろ) (the sound of a frog croaking), in which the latter might references its colour scheme.
Appearance
Terukerotchi resembles a Teru teru bōzu doll, with a frilly lower body and round head with two ears. Its body and head are green when neutral, blue when male, and pink when female.
On Virtual Pets
Tamagotchi On
Terukerotchi appears on every version as one of the six possible teens, evolving from any child with 6 or more care mistakes and with 10 or more Happiness points. Its adult evolution is determined from care, what it was fed, and what items were used. From the second generation onward, a user's My Tama may resemble it, depending on which body gene it has inherited from it's parents, and with a different body colour and accessories.
Trivia
- The dialogue during a C-Click Reaction suggests that it likes the rain. Ironically, it reacts negatively if it goes outside during rain.
