The Mysterious Beginning of the Vanishing Tama-Hearts (消えたたまハートと不思議のはじまり Kieta tamahāto to fushigi no hajimari) is episode 139 of Tamagotchi!. It is the beginning of the ending to the Tama Hearts arc and the original Tamagotchi! anime series.
Synopsis[]
Mametchi is researching legends about the Tama Heart and finds a document that says "When the mysterious plates gather, the Tama Hearts cause a miracle". Around the same time, there is news from the TV that a mysterious phenomenon is occurring in which Tamagotchi turn into eggs. Meanwhile, Mametchi and his friends visit the beach to go to the seaside house where Pichipitchi works. The shop is very prosperous, but the soft serve ice cream machine is broken!
Plot[]
As the Tama-friends walk to Tamagotchi School, Himespetchi watches Mametchi and checks her fortune. Her Himespe Phone ominously tells her that the world will become tense soon and she fantasizes about Mametchi being by her side during danger as everyone around her is confused by her sudden excitement. Once school starts, Grippatchi teaches her class about locations on Tamagotchi Planet. She shows where Tamagotchi Town is and asks the class what other town is at the location she's pointing out. Sunopotchi ends up correctly identifying the spot as Dream Town.
Meanwhile, Mr. Turtletchi's class is outside watching a race between Atsuatsutchi, Sabosabotchi, Bokutchi, and Kikitchi. Kikitchi effortlessly beats them despite the others' efforts. Off to the side, Imotchi mentions missing Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi to Chamametchi who responds that they're probably having their own fun on their journey. At lunch, the Tama-friends talk about things they're excited about, with Lovelitchi and Melodytchi looking forward to performing songs, Moriritchi creating new Tamamori styles, and Kuchipatchi wanting to eat more food.
The scene then shows Hatokamitchi watching this conversation at home through a projection on a waterfall. He is worried about something dangerous coming to them, but quickly starts enjoying his TamaDepa donuts before elaborating further. At Mametchi's house, Mamametchi tells Papamametchi that Mametchi is in his room reading books about Tama Hearts. Mametchi is then seen reading a passage that states that a miracle with the Tama Hearts will happen once all mysterious plates gathered together. The next day, he tells this to his Tama-friends and they all try to figure out what it means with no luck.
Back at Mametchi's house, Mametchi turns on the TV to watch GOTCHIMAN. There's a news report playing where Reportchi is showing a mysterious phenomenon happening at North North Point: Tamagotchis are turning into eggs. She interviews two brothers who explain that they turned into giant eggs after arguing over the older brother being selfish and eating all the cookies they were meant to share. The news segment ends and Mametchi ponders this information before cheering as the GOTCHIMAN show starts.
Later on, the Tama-friends spend a day at the beach swimming in the ocean and playing volleyball. When Kuchipatchi's stomach grumbles from hunger they head to the Tamamori Cafe where Pichipitchi is working. As they enjoy their meal, they overhear a child loudly crying because the ice cream machine is broken. Mametchi tries to fix the machine, but is unable to do so because it's broken beyond repair. As the child cries even louder, Shakertchi appears and offers to make ice cream for everyone using her Kururin Shake Maker. After she creates and gives ice cream to everyone, Pichipitchi thanks her for the help. The Ice Tama Heart then appears from her appreciation for Shakertchi and Lovelitchi goes to collect it with her Tama Profy. However, the heart quickly fades away, leaving everyone confused at what happened. Kizunatchi is unable to explain why the heart had disappeared.
The next day, Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi go to school and walk into class. To their shock, Sunopotchi and Debatchi have turned into eggs and Mametchi notes to himself that he's seen this happen on the news.
