Thief Papillon (怪盗パピヨン Kaitou Papillon) is a TAMAX-TV detective show directed by TamaPtchi. It stars Lovelin as Thief Papillon and Mametchi as Anpan Detective.
Premise[]
The shows features master thief Thief Papillon who steals priceless items from museums, sells them, and uses the Zeni to help poor Tamagotchis. She will often disguise herself as other Tamagotchi (such as a Prince, Tomomi, Makiko, Chamametchi, or Kuchipatchi) in order to sneak into the location and escape unnoticed. Anpan Detective, along with Melody Investigator and other members of the police force will give chase to arrest her before she steals.

Tamagotchi no Narikiri Channel[]
In the Nintendo DS game Tamagotchi no Narikiri Channel, the player has the option to play as Mametchi or Lovelitchi. Thief Papillon and Anpan Detective's costumes are unlockable and gathering all the pieces unlocks a minigame based off the Thief Papillon show. In the minigame, the player plays as Detective Anpan or Thief Papillon. As Anpan, the player must catch Thief Papillon who is running through the city map collecting jewels. She must be caught a certain number of times to win the game; if she collects all the jewels then it's game over. As Papillon, the player must collect all the jewels in the map while avoiding Detective Anpan who is chasing after them; getting caught too many times will end the game.

- The series may be a reference to the popular anime and manga series Lupin III, with Thief Papillon herself being a combination of the titular character and Fujiko Mine, and Anpan Detective referencing Inspector Zenigata.
