Tomomi Decision! To the Earth (ともみ決心! ジアースへ Tomomi Kesshin! Ji Āsu e) is episode 112 of Tamagotchi!. It is the final appearance of Tomomi in the series as she returns to The Earth.
Synopsis[]
The mysterious transmission from Tomomi's cellphone has been analyzed. Apparently, it reminded Tomomi of someone she holds dear...
Plot[]
At Mamemame Lab, Papamametchi and Mamehakasentchi analyze the signal Tomomi's phone received last episode. They note that it seems to be from another human girl from Earth and the Tama-friends wonder who it is as Tomomi progressively gets upset. She eventually runs out of the lab and the Tama-friends catch up to her outside the lab. They ask her what's wrong and Tomomi finally opens up about why she's reluctant to return to Earth.
On the day she got transported to Tamagotchi Planet, Tomomi and her best friend Yuka were writing profiles about themselves at school. Yuka writes down that her best friend is someone else which devastates Tomomi because she thought she was Yuka's best friend. She runs outside and sadly walks home, thinking about the memories she made with Yuka. Suddenly, she gets a call on her phone from Yuka who is wondering where she went. Tomomi tries to answer, but multiple voices pop up on the phone and a pink light envelops her and makes her disappear.
The Tama-friends sympathize with Tomomi and point out that they all consider her their best friend. If they can have multiple best friends, then Yuka could also have different best friends too. This makes Tomomi feel better and willing to return to Earth so she can make up with Yuka. As she thanks everyone for helping her work out her problem, Mametchi figures out a way to send Tomomi back home using the signal on her phone. He goes back into the lab to help Papamametchi and Mamehakasentchi create a machine and the rest of the Tama-friends ask Tomomi what she wants to do before she goes back home.
The group stops at Tamagotchi School so Tomomi can see the classroom one last time. They then go to TamaCafe where they enjoy cookies and Tomomi thanks Lovepapalitchi and Lovemamalitchi for letting her stay there. The parents give her a gift and Lovepapalitchi cries saying that he will miss her. The group's last stop is the Tamamori Shop where Moriritchi dresses Tomomi up in Tamamori. Lovelitchi then tells Tomomi that the machine that will send her home is ready at Mamemame Lab and they all make their way there.
All of Tomomi's friends from Tamagotchi School and the main cast's families are at the lab ready to say goodbye to Tomomi. Spacytchi and his brothers are also there to watch, wondering where Tomomi is going. Before she enters Mametchi's machine, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi ask her to wait and give her their profile pages along with a Tamamo letter. Everyone then does the same thing while tearfully giving her their last goodbyes. Tomomi enters the machine as Lovelitchi and Melodytchi stand on nearby platforms to operate the machine. Mametchi has Tomomi call Yuka so they can use the signal to send her home. Tomomi initially struggles to talk to her as Yuka is wondering where she's been and why she hasn't talked to her in a long time. After Yuka affirms that she misses Tomomi and wants to spend time with her again, Tomomi becomes confident and says she's ready to return to her.
The signal then becomes strong enough and Mametchi messages TamaPtchi and ADtchi to fully power the satellite on TAMAX-TV. The satellite's signal amplifies the signal from Tomomi's phone and a pink light starts to cover her. As the light grows brighter, scenes of Tomomi's adventures on Tamagotchi Planet play out. Tomomi then says goodbye to everyone as the light makes her disappear and a beam of light shoots up towards the sky. As everyone stands in tearful silence, Mamehakasentchi informs them that Tomomi has successfully made it back to Earth.
Suddenly, a Tama Heart appears above the machine and Kizunatchi says that it must have come from the bond Tomomi formed with everyone. Lovelitchi plays the Melody Charm and reveals its true appearance as a Rainbow Tama Heart. After she collects it in her Tama Profy, everyone looks up at the sky and smiles.
