Tonotchi (とのっち) is a male parent stage character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity.
Name Origin[]
殿 tono is Japanese for "feudal lord".
Appearance[]
Tonotchi resembles a Japanese samurai. He has a chonmage haircut, thick eyebrows, and a moustache. He has light cream skin. He wears a hakama. The top part of the hakama is orange, and the bottom part is yellow.
Personality[]
A father figure that's strict about rules, he's quick to scold anyone when something goes wrong. He longs for traditional clothing and styles from ancient villages and he wishes they were more popular nowadays. Despite their opposite personalities, Tonotchi and Tennyotchi manage to get along.

Tonotchi is a Sociable Family parent that evolves from Tamastatchi or Pharaotchi upon marriage. He can also evolve from Mametchi on the Japanese version; on the English version, Mametchi will evolve into Papamametchi instead.

Tonotchi appears as the leader of Tamagotchi Village in "Mysterious Tama-Friends of Tamagotchi Village". He tasks the villagers with making the village beautiful and later watches Lovelitchi, Love-chan, and Melodytchi's performance of Smile For Tomorrow.
