Tosapochitchi (とさぽちっち Tosapochitchi) is a male Tamagotchi character. He first appeared on the Keitai Katsuu Deka Tamagotchi Shop as a sales person in the prefectures of Okayama, Yamaguchi, Shimane, Tokushima, Kochi, Hiroshima, Tottori, Kagawa, and Ehime.
Name Origin[]
Tosa is the name of a city in the Shikoku region of Japan, which is one of the two regions wherein Tosapochitchi appeared on Deka Tamagotchis. Tosa is also the name of a Japanese dog breed that was bred in the same city.
Pochi is a very common, stereotypical name for dogs in Japan, similar to "Rover" in the United States.
Appearance[]
Tosapochitchi bears a resemblance to Pochitchi and a Tosa dog. He is a chubby shape with floppy ears, stubby limbs, and a tail. He has button eyes and a small nose. His fur is brown, with darker brown around the muzzle. He wears a red and white maekake (Japanese waist apron) with gold trim along the bottom.
