Tropical Island! Summer Tamamori Business Trip (とこなつ島！出張たまもりなっつ Tokonatsu shima! Shucchou tamamori nattsu) is part 1 of episode 90 of Tamagotchi!.
This episode, along with the second half "A Gift of Midsummer Snow", were later rebroadcast as the fifth episode of Tamagotchi! Tamatomo Daishuu GO.
Synopsis[]
Lovelitchi, Melodytchi, and Mametchi go on a business trip to Tokonatsu Island for "Tamamori Heaven". After enjoying the live performance, they spend time with King Tanetameha of Tokonatsu Island. The theme is beach fashion Tamamori! Who will win the championship?
Plot[]
The episode opens on the TAMAX-TV ship sailing towards Everlasting Summer Island. The adults are relaxing as Mametchi and friends look towards the island in excitement. When they get there, Tokonatchi is happy to see Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi again. Lovelin then greets her as Melodytchi and Moriritchi introduces themselves.
Everyone enters the island and the scene changes to show Lovelin and Melodytchi performing Happy Happy Harmony in the island's amphitheater. Tokonatchi is excited to watch the performance and TamaPtchi and ADtchi are seen off to the side, noting how receptive the crowd is. As soon as the performance ends, the Lovelin Bus is moved underground as the stage for Sparkling Tamamori Heaven moves forward in its place.
Moriritchi and MC Puppetchi open the show and introduce the judges which includes Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi along with Don Paratchi. Mametchi and Memetchi are unsure if they can be good judges while Kuchipatchi complains about being hungry, but Don Paratchi reassures them and tells them they'll do fine. Moriritchi then says the theme today is "Beach Fashion" tamamori and the next few scenes show the contestants (Tokonatsu, Tanetameha the Great, Telelin & Pashalin, Melodytchi & Lovelin) trying to prepare themselves to do great.
MC Puppetchi presents Melodytchi dressed in a musical themed tamamori as the first contestant and the judges are impressed. Pashalin and Telelin are up next and MC Puppetchi stands silent for a few moments before realizing the two have stuck themselves in a beach ball as their entry. Pashalin and Telelin struggle to get to the center of the stage and bump into many walls on the way. The judges note that there should be more accessories for their tamamori and Moriritchi tells the two they tried their best as they collapse on the ground in exhaustion. Tanetameha the Great then presents himself dressed up in a dog costume and he proudly says he's dressed in a "one piece" to everyone's exasperation. Mametchi replies that he's wearing the wrong kind of one piece for beach fashion.
Next up is Lovelin who is dressed in "Fruit Drink" tamamori. The crowd cheers for her and backstage, Tokonatchi is discouraged and believes that they can't match up to Lovelin. Moriritchi then comes up to her and encourages her to try her best as the point of Tamamori is to express yourself and have fun. This helps Tokonatchi feel better and the scene changes to MC Puppetchi presenting the final contestant. A giant watermelon appears on stage and it splits in half to reveal Tokonatchi dressed in watermelon tamamori. The crowd goes wild for her and Tanetameha the Great excitedly yells how amazing her tamamori is. The judges praise Tokonatsu's entry and she blushes from all the attention.
At the end of the competition, Tokonatchi is chosen as the winner and everyone congratulates her for a job well done. Moriritchi then presents a pineapple shaped trophy to her and Tokonatchi thanks everyone. Later that day, the TAMAX-TV ship sails away from the island and everyone on board waves goodbye to Tokonatchi and Tanetameha the Great.
