Uerukametchi (ウエルカメっち) is a male adult Tamagotchi character who debuted on the Tamagotchi m!x.
Name Origin[]
Uerukametchi may be a portmanteau of welcome (uerukamu) and turtle (kame).
Appearance[]
Uerukametchi is a yellow sea turtle with a brown shell and black spots on his skin. He has a lock of hair on his forehead and wears a small green hat.

Tamagotchi m!x[]
Uerukametchi is a NPC who can be encountered at Mermaid Palace in the Melody, Spacy, Dream, and Sanrio versions of the m!x. He cannot be married. Uerukametchi also appears in the unlock animation for Mermaid Palace where he gives the Tamagotchi a ride there after they flip him back up.
Tamagotchi Smart[]
Uerukametchi is a NPC exclusive to the Marine Change TamaSma Card for the Tamagotchi Smart. He greets the Tamagotchi when the card is linked with the Smart. He also appears as a customer in the Marine Taxi minigame.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Uerukametchi is a NPC that appears if the user chooses the Sea location when going on a Tama Walk. They greet the Tamagotchi when they arrive to the location.
Trivia[]
- Uerukametchi is a reference to the turtle from the Japanese fairy tale, Urashima Tarō. The protagonist of the story rides a turtle to the Dragon Kingdom which is located underwater after helping another turtle. The unlock animation for Mermaid Palace plays out similar to this with Uerukametchi giving the Tamagotchi a ride to the location.
