Waru Cafe

Waru Cafe (わるカフェー Wāru Cafē) is a location on Tama Street. It is a cafe themed after "badness" that caters to tough Tamagotchi.

Appearance[]

Waru Cafe is portrayed as a dark and villainous place where "badness" is the dominant theme, and the kinds of characters often seen inside are the mischievous or more villain like type, though not all patrons of the cafe are "bad guys". The cafe itself is shaped like a white egg and wears a black top hat, neck accessory, and pointed sunglasses. The building holds two signs saying "Open" and "Bad" while having a mischievous expression on its face.

The inside of the cafe is dark and dimly lit, with a staircase at the entrance leading down into the main part of the cafe. In the center of the cafe is the bartender who sits inside a top hat and serves drinks to customers. There are multiple tables throughout the cafe and rocks line the wall as decoration.

While the cafe is themed around "badness" and is popular with thug-like Tamagotchi, the bartender does not tolerate misconduct. If any patrons cause trouble in the cafe, they will be thrown out by guards or the chairs themselves.

The Waru Cafe is an unlockable location on the Tamagotchi iD L. It can be opened by obtaining 20 stamps. The Tamagotchi can encounter Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi at the cafe.

In the Anime[]

Tamagotchi![]

Waru Cafe is first seen in "Tamagotchi School's Transfer Student" when Spacytchi and his brothers come across it and want to go in due to it looking evil and cool. However, they are too intimidated by how scary the patrons look and decide not to go in. In "Beep Beep! Ready to Take Over Tamagotchi Planet!" the brothers finally go inside, but find everyone in the cafe to be lying down and unresponsive. This scares them as they think they're not alive anymore and they run out of the cafe screaming. However, it's later revealed that the patrons were just celebrating "Roll Over the Floor Day" and that they were annoyed by the Spacy Brother's screaming from earlier.

Kuromametchi visits the cafe in "Kuromametchi Finds His Coolness" in an attempt to regain his cool persona. He learns about someone called "Cool Dandy" who is the coolest person ever and resolves to meet him so he can learn from him. At the end of the episode, Cool Dandy is revealed to be Principal Mimizu.

Anemoriritchi and Agetchi are shown to frequent the cafe in "Age~? Spacytchi's Love". Spacytchi falls in love with Agetchi and sits near her at the bar so he can gaze and eventually talk to her. When Spacytchi decides to take Agetchi out on a date, his brothers bother her in an attempt to give Spacytchi a chance to "save" her. Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi are instead promptly thrown out by the guards though their scheme did let Spacytchi talk to Agetchi.

In "Gigakyun! Mysterious Transfer Student Himespetchi", Spacytchi invites Himespetchi to the cafe so he can remind her of the promise he made to her as a kid: He would take over Tamagotchi Planet and give it to her so they can rule as king and queen. However, Himepsetchi is no longer interested in ruling Tamagotchi Planet and just wants to stay in Tamagotchi Town so she can catch someone's else heart. Spacytchi becomes dejected from this response and leaves her at the cafe to her confusion. In "Big Fight!? Moriritchi vs Anemoriritchi", Anemoriritchi talks about her sister running away from home and Agetchi helps her look at the problem from another perspective.

Anchitchi, Ponchitchi, and Tanchitchi go to Waru Cafe in "Skateboarding Kikitchi's Extreme Training!" after Kikitchi fails to prove his skateboarding skills to them. They make fun of him and eventually start insulting the Spacy brothers who are sitting next to them, calling them lame for ordering juice and pudding. Santagreentchi and Greennosetchi are seen at the cafe by Kuchipatchi in "A Bit of a Badboy? Midsummer Santaclautchi" and the Tama-friends go to see them, thinking they're Santaclautchi and Rednosetchi.

When the Spacy Brothers go around Tamagotchi Town to take pictures before they leave in "Farewell, Tama-Friends! Spacytchi's Tearful Decision", their first stop is Waru Cafe. Spacytchi asks the bartender to take pictures of him and he obliges, taking pictures of the brothers, staff, and patrons.
