Work in a Shoptchi! Pichi (おみせっちでお仕事！ピチ Omisecchideo shigoto! Pichi) is part 2 of Episode 36 of Tamagotchi!. The episode features Pichi Pichi Island and new characters from the video game Tamagotchi no Pichi Pichi Omisetchi.
Synopsis[]
Mametchi and friends help out at various shops on Pichi Island. There seems to be a secret on the island and the group tries to find out the secret together.
Plot[]
Kuchipatchi and Mametchi wake up in the morning and meet up with Lovelitchi and Telelin at Lattetchi's cafe. After they had their drinks, Lattetchi tells them that she would like them to clean up in the kitchen, adding that they need to finish all their work by evening. When asked why all the work must be done by that time, she only reiterates to finish by then and not leave after they're done. The Tama-friends then head into the kitchen to wash all the dishes and clean all machinery.
After they finish, Lattetchi directs them to help out at the farm and vegetable bakery. As the Tama-friends head there, they overhear citizens whispering about a secret on Pichi Pichi Island. Mametchi tries to ask them what the secret is, but they do not provide any answers and only add that they should finish their work by evening time. Once they leave, Lovelitchi notices how empty the streets are compared to yesterday and wonders where all the people are.
The Tama-friends work hard with Vegetchi to harvest vegetables at the farm and take it to Patitchi's bakery. As the group moves the vegetables into the shop, Telelin asks Patitchi what the secret of the island is. Patitchi simply asks the group to place the vegetable down on the floor and pushes them outside when they are done, telling them to move on to other shops and finish their work by evening. Memetchi begins to get frustrated with not knowing the secret and Lovelitchi agrees, saying she feel uneasy about being kept in the dark. The Tama-friends then decide to split up so they can finish all their work before evening and have time to find out the secret on their own.
Meanwhile, Spacytchi and Akaspetchi are proud of the sushi they made at the Sushi restaurant. When they look over at Pipospetchi's work, they are shocked to see that he has made a sculpture of himself out of sushi ingredients. Elsewhere on the island, the Tama-friends are hard at work. Kuchipatchi sweeps up Otototchi's boat, Memetchi cleans up Tsubomatchi's massage parlor, Lovelitchi puts up clothes in Imechentchi's boutique, and Mametchi moves boxes at the market.
It is now late afternoon and all the shopkeepers are discussing how to share the secret of Pichi Pichi Island. The Tama-friends reunite and are excited to figure out the secret for themselves. However, they turn around to see the shopkeepers menacingly walking towards them. Fearing that the shopkeepers are angry at them for already knowing the secret, the friends run away and the shopkeepers chase after them. The chase goes all over the island's town and after some time, Imechentchi and Sharitchi manage to corner them and get them to stop. Patitchi then explains that they only wanted to show them secret and questions why they made them run all over the island.
The shopkeepers take the Tama-friends to the beach where the tide fully recedes to reveal hermit crabs with crystals on their shells. Lattetchi explains that once a year, the hermit crabs will lay their eggs once the tide is gone. Because the crabs are so fragile, the island does not allow tourists to come that day and the citizens spend the day relaxing quietly. Everyone then enjoys the sight and the Tama-friends proclaim their love for Pichi Pichi Island.
