X (エックス Ekkusu) is the name of a male character who debuted in the third Tamagotchi anime series, Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends. On the virtual pets, he appeared on the Tamagotchi P's as an NPC exclusive to the Miracrise pierce.
Name Origin[]
X is named after the English letter of the alphabet, which also appears on his head. The Japanese pronunciation of X, ekkusu, can also mean "unknown".
Appearance[]
X resembles a small robot. He has a green body with short orange legs, and long yellow arms with round orange hands. He has a yellow square face and orange cheeks. On his head is a blue and purple device with the letter X on it. He has small gray wings on his back which can turn bigger and make Smartotchi fly.
Personality[]
X is a dedicated helper to Smartotchi, but can often become aggressive and agitated. His eyes can project footage of previous events and he can fly like Watchlin. He can also disguise himself as a vase, which is what he does when other Tamagotchis besides Smartotchi are around.
X can give Smartotchi the ability to fly by shrinking into a small device with wings and attaching himself to Smartotchi's back, completing the "X-Kamen" costume.

Tamagotchi P's[]
X is an NPC exclusive to the Miracrise pierce on the Tamagotchi P's. He can be encountered at the Day Care Center through the Hype Walk destination.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends[]
X appears in Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends as a partner of Smartotchi. He helps him on his goal to obtain the Dreambakutchi before their rivals, Miraitchi and Clulutchi, do. Enchoutchi, Smartotchi's home-stay parent, does not know about X and once put flowers in him when he was disguised as a vase. Later on in Miracle Friends, X also becomes best friends with Watchlin.
After gathering all the Dreambakutchi together he along with Smartotchi, Miraitchi, Clulutchi, Watchlin, and Candy Pakupaku returned to the future and watched Smartotchi played the piano that was saved. It was the last time he and Smartotchi were seen.
