Yūko Sanpei (三瓶由布子 Sanpei Yuuko, born February 28th, 1986) is a Japanese actress and voice actress who has lent her voice to numerous anime characters since 2000, most notably Cure Dream (Nozomi Yumehara) from Yes! PreCure 5, Boruto Uzumaki from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Renton Thurston from Eureka Seven, and Taichi Yagami from the 2020 reboot of Digimon Adventure, as well as El Tigre (Manny Rivera) from the Japanese dub of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera. She has been part of the Axlone agency since October 1st, 2011, and is a mother of 2 children as of July 5th, 2019.
Sanpei tested positive for COVID-19 on August 18th, 2021[1], but successfully recovered from the virus nearly 3 weeks later on September 6th, 2021. [2]
Involvement with Tamagotchi[]
Sanpei provided the voices of several characters from Tamagotchi! (series), most notably Melodytchi. She also voiced Bokutchi and Herotchi in the first anime, Righttchi, Kiramamatchi, and Mamacoffretchi in Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream, and Orenetchi in GO-GO Tamagotchi!.
