Yumekotchi (夢子っち) is a female adult character who appeared on the Haneru No Tobira Tamagotchi versions 1 and 2. She is based on the character "Net Idol Yumeko-chan" from the Japanese comedy TV show, Haneru No Tobira (translated as You knock on a Jumping Door!).

Appearance[]

Yumekotchi resembles a young woman. She has short brown hair which is divided up into two side ponytails on either side. In her original 2005 artwork, she had a red and yellow headband on the front of her head, and she had a blue dress which had two parts to it. She also had red high heels. Her 2006 artwork has her look similar but her mouth is not visible and instead she is seen holding a round object. Her skirt is blue and white and held together by yellow belts, and her high heels are black. She also has pinker cheeks. Her sprites on both versions are identical.

Obtaining[]

Hanerutchi 1[]

If two Hanerutchi Keitais breed, one with Shioritchi and the other with Akiyama Ridatchi, the resulting baby will grow up to become Murata Sanaetchi, who will then become Yumekotchi after 72 hours.

Hanerutchi 2[]

Yumekotchi is one of the three female adults in the Ongaku group, and can evolve from either Shioritchi or Nadeshiko Akanetchi if the highest skill point is Comedy. She sleeps from 10 PM to 9 AM.

Name Origin[]

Yume means "dream". " Ko" is a suffix regularly added to Japanese girl's names, so a literal translation of "Yumeko" would be "dream girl". Her name may also be a reference to the Haneru No Tobira character Yumeko-chan, who she is based on, but with "tchi" on the end, rather than "chan".
